According to the books, most parents seem to get a break between sleep training your baby for a good night's sleep to when all hell breaks loose and your child begins teething.
I think I got 3 days.
Noah is starting to become one of those early-bloomer babies. He's stronger, more aware and hand/eye coordination is top notch according to our pediatrician...maybe about a month ahead. Makes me so proud! Then he had to go and start teething.
I feel as tired as I had been the first few weeks of his life with us. Noah wakes up almost every two hours. He can be coaxed back to sleep without a bottle, but in order to rescue my sanity I started putting him back in his swing to sleep at night. He'll go down in his crib and then for however long I can keep him there, he'll sleep. But once he starts the late night gnawing - in he goes with the swing and we all get a better night's sleep.
Just one more hurdle to get through but we'll get there. His teeth will break, he'll grow out of it and then we'll be onto our next hurdle ... whatever that may be. Hopefully it's something that does not interfere with his sleep schedule.
