Here Kitty Kitty

We have four cats. Yes, I know it's a little bit insane. It's the husband who's the "cat lady" although I love them as well. We got the first two (sisters) from some friends over six years ago and two years later took in two boys from the local shelter. I've heard some people say that you know someone is ready for kids when they keep adopting pets. Well...

Anyhow, since Noah came into the family the boys have been extremely resourceful at staying out of his path. They did like him when he was little and didn't make so much noise or movement. The two girls however are very sociable and are surprisingly interested in everything Noah does. They're long-haired so Chang learned quickly what happens when the baby gets ahold of her. Now she likes to dart about him just out of arms reach which is funny to Noah but gets frustrating to him eventually. The other, Cu (pronounced "Coo") has some wires crossed because she must be deprived of attention and therefore makes no effort to escape Noah's path. She cries out when he gets her tail but otherwise takes the pummeling and the grabbing and slobbering. I'm waiting for her patience to wear thin but until then Noah sure loves his furry play toy.
