His Name

Crazy how as parents you get to select a name for your child that will follow after him for his whole life. I've had friends who picked family names or names that they have held onto for years and years, but I can't even begin to tell you how we chose his name. We've discussed baby names since before we were married and always had a handful that we kept in circulation. The husband didn't want the decision to take forever so we went with our gut.

Noah - meaning rest; peace
James - his given middle name which we've decided to keep.

We're breaking the news tonight to our families in the form of the below card. We'll see how long it takes them to catch on. Can't wait for this Christmas surprise!
