Oregon - Day Six

Happy 4th! We're spending two nights here in Roseburg in order to spend some time with the family for the holiday. Only downside to today was no fireworks. So Noah's first fireworks will have to be next year.

One of the cousins had a free pass to the local Wildlife Safari so we packed up and enjoyed a nice, cool drive through the park this morning. Noah was elated to be out of his car seat and still in the car. He even got to "drive".

We enjoyed the evening with family and Noah looked cute sporting his "My First 4th" bib from his Great Aunt. The highlight of Noah's evening was the chicken coup however. Definitely people-loving chickens, these little hens lined up in the coup waiting for a morsel of something...anything.

Like I mentioned, no fireworks but we had a nice cookout catching up with everyone. The husband's mom is one of 14-15 kids so it's a HUGE family but every time we visit it becomes that much easier to get caught up again on who's who and with which family and then we chat like old friends. Even our friends seemed to become honorary family.
